The French didn't do much building around Cincinnati, but Sir Harry Andrews sure did. He was a WWI veteran who'd been knighted for his bravery, and came back to Ohio to work as an engineer. Somewhere along the way, while teaching Sunday school, he got the notion of Chateau LaRoche, a Norman style stonework which he then built over the course of several decades - often with the help of his young male assistants, the Knights of the Golden Temple.
