I got there around 1:30 on a weekday and it seemed like a good time to go - it was relatively quiet. Leaving around 3pm I saw no more big groups coming in - might make the best time to go ????

Current Bulguksa is re-built around 1970.The link photo is Bulguksa in 1914. The photo suggests this temple was really forsaken for long time.

A beautiful temple on the UNESCO list. Must visit in fall when trees colors goes from green to yellow and red. It's about 30-min away from Gyeongju by bus.
