excellent place to visit as the Medicee family had such a strong influence on Florence, so much took place here including the birth of the Renaissance

Michelangelo’s greatest work for the church, despite his leaving it unfinished like much of the rest of his work for San Lorenzo, is the SAGRESTIA NUOVA (1520–24 and 1530–33), the New Sacristy.

Joli. A faire au début de la visite de Florence car le reste à visiter est bien plus joli. On serait (presque) déçu de le voir en fin de visite.
