The Philadelphia Museum of Art is one of the largest art museums in the United States. From world-class collections, exhibitions, programs, and some pretty well-known steps. Don't skip a picture.

I went there to see the steps from rocky the movie :D and then I saw the museum and I was amazed by what I saw so I entered and it was marvelous inside. I would definitely recommend it to anybody.

Sure there's the world-class art downstairs by history's best painters, but don't miss exhibits on the top floor. There's part of a monastery, temple, and a Japanese tea house all INSIDE the museum.

The exhibits are very good and awesome to see even though you have to pay admission in order to enter the historic building. Loved viewing the ancient armor exhibits. The management &staff are helpful

Wednesday evenings 5-8:45 are now pay what you wish. A really nice time to stroll through... and afterwards, I suggest sitting on the museum steps and enjoying the view of the skyline!
